We went on our first two of bike rides of the year in April; one to Newmillerdam & the other towards Horbury and then back along the canal. The first ride had the best weather and ended with lakeside ice creams and the second, although a little chillier at times, ended at the Navigation Pub for coffee and/or ice creams and was just as enjoyable. We’ve done both rides before so we were just easing ourselves in really. We’ve convinced Tom & Gemma to come on the Horbury ride later on in the year where we will sample the meals at the Navigation.
